March 3, 2004 - Mel Gibson's "The Passion" of the Christ is the most captivating movie I have ever seen.  It moved me far the second time than the first - so says everyone I've spoken to who've also seen it twice.  Next, I'm getting the DVD for my library.  Every single person on planet earth should be privileged to see this powerful portrayal of the single most important event in all of history.  It'll stir you down to the core of your being.  It should go down in history as the greatest movie of all time, that'll change more lives than any other.  My 14 year old daughter said it totally changed her life.

Because this powerful event
demands a heart and soul response, please read the rest of this web-page…

É SALVATION SCRIPTURES Ê
"Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God."

Mel Gibson's "The Passion" of the Christ
Sin separated man from God - Jesus bridged the gap

Rom 3:23 (NAS) ...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…
Isa 59:2 (NAS) But your iniquities (sins) have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden {His} face from you, so that He does not hear.
Acts 17:30 (NAS) "Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all everywhere should repent...
John 14:6 (NAS) Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; NO ONE comes to the Father, BUT THROUGH ME.
1 John 1:9 (NAS) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:7 (NAS) ...the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Jesus Saves

Rom 10:9-10 (NAS) ...that if you confess with your mouth Jesus {as} Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, YOU SHALL BE SAVED;
10  for with the heart man believes
(Jesus died and paid for his sins), resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses (Jesus as his Lord and Savior), resulting in salvation.
Rev 3:20 (NAS) 'Behold, I (Jesus) stand at the door (of your heart) and knock; if anyone

hears My voice and opens the door, I WILL come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with Me.
Rev 20:15 (NAS) And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life (because of not receiving Jesus), he was thrown into the (eternal) lake of fire (hell).
John 14:2 (NKJ) "In My Father's house (Heaven) are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for YOU."

Because HELL IS VERY REAL...
He died fo you

...that you might spend ETERNITY in Heaven with Him - read on...

É SINNERS PRAYER Ê
Read through this prayer first, to confirm your agreement.
Then, pray it out aloud, making it your own, by praying sincerely from your heart...

As in marriage vows, this is my lifetime commitment to Jesus Christ, in response to Him laying His life down for me.
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus.  I thank You for sending Your only Son to be my Savior.
I thank You Jesus for giving your life, for
shedding Your blood on Calvary, to pay the price in full, for ALL my sin.
Thank You Jesus for Your great MERCY, undeserving GRACE and unceasing LOVE for me.
I repent for ALL my sin and ask Your forgiveness.  I open the door of my heart, to receive You Jesus, as my Savior.  I step off the throne of my heart, to crown You Jesus, as my King.  I confess You Jesus, to be the Lord of my life.
I believe in the
power of the blood Jesus that washes and cleanses me right now from every sin.  The power of the blood of Jesus also breaks the chains of sin over my life, releasing me from all guilt and shame.
Thank You Lord Jesus for saving me and setting me free -
whom the Son sets free, shall be free indeed (John 8:36).
Because He died for me, I can now boldly confess:- (i) that
by the blood of Jesus, I AM SAVED; (ii) in the name of Jesus, I AM SAVED; (iii) by word of Jesus, I AM SAVED.
In
John 1:12, Your Word says, "...to ALL who BELIEVED Him and ACCEPTED Him, He gave the right to become children of God" - NLT.  I do believe in You Lord Jesus with all my heart and this prayer is my total acceptance of You.
Therefore Jesus Christ, always true to His Word, here and now bestows on me the right to become a child of God.
My response is to say thank you Lord Jesus and in full agreement with Your promise I boldly confess:- I am forgiven; I've been born into heaven's family; I am a child of God; I am Yours and heaven is now my eternal home.
In
Rom 6:23, Your Word says, "...the free gift of God is ETERNAL LIFE in Christ Jesus our Lord - NAU.  Today, I have received God's free gift of ETERNAL LIFE by receiving Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.  Amen!

Jesus is Lord

É AFFIRMATION OF 'MY DECISION' TO FOLLOW JESUS Ê
Print, complete & sign Parts A&B of this page - keep it in your Bible

A.  I ............................................................................................ today received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, having surrendered my life to Him by confessing Him to be my Lord.  I know that I am saved because God's eternal Word says so.  I choose to believe God's unchanging Word, rather than my ever-changing feelings.

Romans 10:9-10 (i) "That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and (ii) believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, (iii) YOU SHALL BE SAVED; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."
i)    I have surrendered my life to Jesus Christ by openly confessing Him alone to be my Lord, signifying a total lifetime commitment to Him, and received Him as my personal Savior.
ii)    I do believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God, who died on the Cross to shed His Blood as a complete and sufficient offering for all of my sins, and that He was raised from the dead on the third day.
iii)  Because I have done what God said, I know He has done what He said.  He said "YOU SHALL BE SAVED".  Therefore I know with absolute certainty I AM NOW SAVED.  I thank and praise you Lord Jesus for my eternal salvation.

Gal 2:20 (NAU) I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the {life} which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

B.  FOR YOUR SPIRITUAL GROWTH PRACTICE THE FOLLOWING:-

1.  PRAY DAILY.  Start off each day with early morning prayer.  God is now your Father and He desires to have fellowship with you.  (Mark 1:35, Mark 11:24; John 16:23, 24; 1 Cor 14:2, 4, 14, 15)
2.  STUDY GOD'S WORD DAILY.  Just as your body need food for growth, so also your inner man needs the Word of God to feed and build you up spiritually.  (Joshua 1:8;  Prov 4:20-23; Matt 4:4)
3.  FELLOWSHIP WITH CHRISTIANS REGULARLY.  Join a Home Fellowship, make some Christian friends and attend Sunday services; to firstly worship God and secondly hear the Word of God.  (Acts 2:42, 46, 47; Heb 10:25)
4.  CONFESS YOUR SALVATION TO YOUR FRIENDS.  Christ was not ashamed to die publicly for you; don't be ashamed to confess Him in public.  It reaffirms your salvation and strengthens you spiritually when you tell others what Jesus has done for you.  (Mark 16:15,  Matt 10:32,33)

Jesus is a light to the world

Psa 119:105 (NAS) Thy Word is a lamp

to my feet, and a light to my path.

C.  Now that you are saved, God has given you the highest code of conduct to live by - His Eternal Word.

As you read your Bible you will discover many things you should not be doing but are doing, and many things you should be doing but are not doing.

You will also find that your born again
(John 3:3-7 or saved) spirit man inside your body will clearly tell you by the voice of your conscience that certain things are wrong and should no longer be practiced in your life.

However, we are still human and even though we do our best with God's help, we still make mistakes and fail many times.  The devil would like to use this against you, bringing you under condemnation by saying that you will never make the grade as a Christian.  Don't ever listen to him for he is a liar and the father of lies
(John 8:44).  Rather believe the Word of your loving heavenly Father and do what He says in...
1 John 1:9 "If we (the Apostle John includes himself here) confess our sins, God is faithful and righteous to FORGIVE US OUR SINS and to cleanse us from ALL UNrighteousness."
God is saying that when you sin you must immediately confess it, and then KNOW and accept that you're forgiven and cleansed from ALL UNrighteousness, which once again makes you righteous in God's eyes.

The devil may still try and bring you into condemnation by saying you can't get off so easily.  But God says in...
Rom 8:1 "There is therefore now NO CONDEMNATION for those who are IN CHRIST JESUS."
Resist the devil with this verse saying, "I'm free from condemnation because my life is hidden IN CHRIST JESUS.  God sees my life through the shed blood of Jesus Christ which has cleansed

Christ's finished work on the cross will destroy the power of sin in your life

me from all confessed sin, and He is well satisfied with the costly price Jesus paid for my sin."
We can't pay for a debt that God has already settled in full.

James 4:7 "Submit therefore to God.  Resist the devil and he will flee from you."
Resisting condemnation, unworthiness, doubt, fear, unbelief, unforgiveness, resentment, hate, bitterness, sin, etc., in the authority of Jesus name, is resisting the devil.  Practicing these truths needs to become a part of our everyday life.
